8 years ago today I watched with genuine excitement as history unfolded for the better. Today I refuse to watch history being made for ugly reasons. Make of that what you will but be sure I will take the time over the next four years to remind my 3 year old daughter why she is in every way equal to anyone else on the planet and why if you discriminate against one person, you really discriminate against us all.
