Hi! I’m Wendy Stephens, a freelance artist and illustrator. I’m a spooky-cute artist who creates pastel-coloured art that I retail as prints, stickers, and other merch in my Etsy store, which has over 5,000 5-star reviews. All of my high-quality giclée art prints and vinyl stickers are handmade with love from my studio in Hertfordshire, before I ship them worldwide.

I’m inspired by all things a little bit dark or macabre. I love to draw bats, skulls, ghosts, pumpkins, cryptids, witches, vampires and other spooky creatures. I use soft pastel colours to create a sense of playfulness, while still maintaining a gothic aesthetic. Imagine a world where haunted houses are pink, ghosts and pumpkins are cute and cuddly, and where demons, vampires and werewolves can be pin-up girls. That’s the kind of art I love to create!

I’ve illustrated a spooky romance book cover “This Spells Disaster” for Penguin Books, illustrated “Bigfoot & Friends” a mini magnet set with mini book for Hachette Mini Kits, a “Bigfoot & Friends” baby board book also for Hachette and created the cover and interior illustrations for “Mothman is My Boyfriend” for Quirk Books.

I’m always happy to discuss new projects, especially art licensing, commercial projects, editorial illustration and book cover design.

You can find me on social media or contact me by email. I look forward to hearing from you. Email: hello(at)wendystephens.co.uk
