Yes, definitely. Etsy is possibly the biggest (and best) way to buy directly from artists and makers. Redbubble is the “world’s largest on-demand marketplace for independent artists“. On demand printing means no leftover stock which in itself is more sustainable as they only print what you order.
Is my art print going to be high quality?
Oh hell yeah! The BEST! Your art print will be printed on 240gsm Soft White card with pigment inks, which should ensure a print life of more than 85 years. A giclee (pronounced ‘Zhee-Clay’) print is a very high-quality inkjet print. Giclee printers use pigments (instead of dyes found in lower cost inkjets) which are light-fast and waterproof. Pigment inks ensure excellent image quality.
How do you ship my art print?
A6 + A5 + A4 size are printed with a small white border, signed, packaged in a protective sleeve, and shipped flat in a stiff card envelope. All prints are sent Royal Mail (UK addresses) and Royal Mail International Standard.
Who prints the artprints?
I print each artprint to order. I do it with my own biscuit-crumb covered fingers. (I brush most of them off before I send out the orders). This means I am able to turn orders round pretty quickly.
Do you ship to GERMANY?
Yes I do! I am registered under the German Verpackungsgesetz (LUCID Packaging Register) and my partner for recycling packaging is Activate by Reclay. I strongly encourage all my customers (not just in Germany) to recycle all packaging in the correct way.
Are your stickers waterproof?
Yes they are, they should be fine on water bottles / reusable coffee cups etc. I haven’t tested them outdoors myself so I wouldn’t say they are weatherproof.
Can I get a discount code?
Yes, simply sign up to my mailing list and get an instant code emailed to you.
Can I commission you to paint something for me?
I’m available for commercial projects (such as editorial illustration, book cover design etc). I have also painted commissions for lots of customers. I’m usually quite busy, but if you get in contact with me I might have some availability.
What do you use to paint?
I use an Apple iPad, along with an iPencil. I use Procreate software to draw and I’m entirely self taught. If I can do it, you can too.
